To determine your belt size, measure your current belt from the fold end (not including the buckle) to the hole you wear it on. 

Alternatively you can measure your waist by putting a tape through your jeans loop holes while you are wearing them.

Your pant size is generally not a good indicator of your belt size, so please measure carefully.
